Regular cleaning to prevent contamination

  • For the mating surfaces of guide rails and sliders, we recommend wiping weekly with a lint-free soft cloth dampened with a neutral cleaner (avoid corrosive solvents). Focus on removing dust, oil, and other contaminants to prevent particles from embedding in contact areas of load-bearing structures like four-way guides, which could compromise smooth operation.
  • After cleaning, dry thoroughly with a dry cloth to ensure no residual liquid remains on the guide rail surface. Pay particular attention to the seal areas at both ends of the slider to prevent cleaning agent from seeping inside and affecting ball bearing operation.

 

Scientific Lubrication for High Rigidity Performance

  • Based on equipment operating frequency (recommended every 2 weeks for daily operation exceeding 8 hours; monthly for intermittent operation), inject specialized linear guide grease through the slider's built-in grease nipple. The injection volume should be sufficient for grease to slightly overflow from both ends of the slider, ensuring full lubrication of the four-row contact structure to maintain high rigidity and load capacity.
  • Avoid mixing different grease types. If changing lubricant, thoroughly clean existing grease first to prevent sedimentation from mixed greases, which compromises guideway precision.

  • Monthly check slider seals for integrity. Replace immediately if damaged or deformed to prevent contaminants from entering and wearing the raceway or balls, which degrades self-aligning capability.   • Quarterly inspection of guide rail running precision is required. Measure the parallelism error during slider movement using a dial indicator.
